Foresight AI Partners LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as YouGot, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the YouGot website (yougot.ai) and our reminder service delivered via SMS, WhatsApp, email, and push notifications (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Mobile Phone Number: Your phone number, provided during sign-up, used to deliver SMS and WhatsApp reminder messages you request. WhatsApp messages are processed through Twilio and Meta's WhatsApp Business API. We support reminder input in multiple languages.
- Email Address: Your email address, used for account management and email-based reminder delivery.
- Name: Your name, if provided, used to personalize your experience.
- Reminder Content: The text of reminders you create, used to parse, schedule, and deliver your requested reminders.
- Conversation Session Data: AI conversation sessions are stored to provide context for multi-turn interactions when creating and managing reminders.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including timestamps, delivery receipts, reminder activity, and engagement metrics such as views and likes on shared reminders.
- Device and Browser Information: Technical data such as browser type, operating system, timezone, and platform detection (mobile, desktop, or PWA), collected automatically when you access the website.
- Cookies & Local Storage: We use cookies and browser localStorage for analytics session persistence and service functionality. See Section 17 for details.
- Push Notification Subscription Data: If you enable push notifications, we store your subscription endpoint to deliver reminder notifications you request.
- Referral Tracking Data: If you participate in our referral program, we collect referral code usage, signup attribution, and conversion data.
- API Keys & Webhook URLs (Business Tier): If you use our Business tier, we store API keys (hashed and secured) and webhook URLs you provide for reminder delivery integrations.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver SMS, WhatsApp, and email reminder messages you request
- Parse and schedule your reminder requests using AI, including processing text in multiple languages
- Manage your account and preferences
- Provide customer support
- Send service-related communications (e.g., account verification, billing notifications)
- Improve and optimize the Service
- Analyze engagement metrics and usage patterns to improve features and user experience
- Track referral program activity including signup attribution and conversion to paid plans
- Fetch live data from third-party sources (cryptocurrency prices, weather, stocks, and news) when requested by your reminders
- Comply with legal obligations
- Abuse Detection & Security: We analyze usage patterns, reminder content, and API requests to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats. When suspicious activity is detected, we log the original content that triggered the detection, the type of activity detected, and the timestamp. This information is used to enforce our Terms of Service and protect all users.
4. SMS / WhatsApp / Mobile Messaging Privacy
When you opt in to YouGot's SMS or WhatsApp reminder service, we collect your mobile phone number to deliver the reminder messages you request.
Your phone number and mobile information will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share your phone number with our delivery service providers solely for the purpose of delivering your requested reminder messages. For SMS delivery, your phone number is shared with Twilio. For WhatsApp delivery, your phone number and reminder content are shared with Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform via Twilio for message delivery. We do not share your mobile information with any third-party lead generators, data brokers, or marketing companies.
All messages sent by YouGot via SMS and WhatsApp are transactional reminder messages that you have explicitly requested. We do not send unsolicited promotional or marketing messages.
5. Opt-In and Consent
You opt in to receive SMS or WhatsApp messages from YouGot through the following process on our website at https://yougot.ai:
- Create a YouGot account
- Navigate to your dashboard and add a phone number
- Check the SMS consent checkbox agreeing to receive automated SMS reminder messages, which includes all required disclosures (message frequency, data rates, opt-out instructions, and links to our Terms and Privacy Policy)
- Click "Send Code" to receive a 6-digit verification code via SMS
- Enter the verification code to confirm your phone number
Your consent is given voluntarily and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Only after completing all steps above will you receive SMS reminder messages you create.
By opting in, you consent to receive automated reminder messages from YouGot via your chosen channel (SMS or WhatsApp) at the phone number you provide. These messages include the reminders you create, confirmation messages, and service notifications.

6. Opt-Out / How to Stop Messages
You can opt out of receiving SMS or WhatsApp messages from YouGot at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any YouGot SMS or WhatsApp message
- Replying HELP for assistance
- Changing your delivery preferences in your dashboard
- Contacting us at support@yougot.ai
We also recognize the following opt-out keywords: STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END. Your opt-out request will be processed immediately, and you will receive a confirmation message. After opting out, you will not receive any further SMS or WhatsApp messages from YouGot unless you re-opt in.
7. Message Frequency and Limits
Message frequency varies based on your reminder settings. You control how many reminders you create and when they are delivered. YouGot sends only the reminder messages you request, plus minimal service messages (welcome confirmation, opt-out confirmation).
Each plan includes monthly message limits for SMS, WhatsApp, email, and push notifications. When SMS or WhatsApp limits are reached, the platform attempts to deliver reminders via email as a fallback; however, delivery through any channel is not guaranteed. Limits reset on the 1st of each month.
8. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS and WhatsApp messages sent by YouGot, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. YouGot is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier. Neither carriers nor Foresight AI Partners LLC are liable for delayed or undelivered messages, regardless of the delivery channel or the nature of the reminder.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Reminder data is retained for 90 days after delivery, then archived. Reminder content is permanently deleted after 90 days of archival.
- Abuse detection flags: 90 days from creation, or longer if required for active investigations or legal compliance
- Moderation action logs: 1 year from creation (includes records of warnings, suspensions, and appeals)
- API request logs: 90 days from creation
- Webhook delivery logs: 90 days from creation
- Conversation session data: Subject to the same retention policies as reminder data
If you opt out of SMS or WhatsApp messages, we will remove your phone number from our active messaging list immediately. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except as required by law.
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL). Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled servers.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Automated Decision-Making
We use automated systems to flag accounts for potential Terms of Service violations. Automated actions include:
- Sending warning emails when suspicious activity is first detected
- Temporarily suspending accounts after repeated violations within a 24-hour period
- Sending internal security alerts to our team for review
Following a warning, continued violations may result in suspension or termination without additional notice, as described in our Terms of Service.
All automated actions are reviewable by human administrators. You may appeal any automated decision by contacting support@yougot.ai. We do not make permanent termination decisions automatically — human review is required for account termination.
12. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your information with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the Service:
- SMS Delivery Provider (Twilio): To deliver your requested SMS reminder messages
- WhatsApp Delivery (Meta/Twilio): To deliver your requested WhatsApp reminder messages via Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform through Twilio
- Email Provider (Resend): To deliver your requested email reminders and service communications
- AI Processing (OpenRouter / Anthropic Claude): To parse and process your reminder requests using natural language AI. Neither Anthropic nor OpenRouter retains your data for model training.
- Analytics (PostHog): To collect anonymized usage analytics for service improvement. See Section 17 for details on what data is tracked.
- Authentication (Clerk): To manage user authentication, account creation, and session management
- Backend & Database (Convex): To host our backend infrastructure and store your reminder data
- Hosting (Vercel): To host and deliver the YouGot website and application
- Payment Processor (Stripe): To process subscription payments (we do not store your payment card information)
- Cryptocurrency Data (CoinGecko): To fetch live cryptocurrency prices when requested by your reminders. No personal data is shared with CoinGecko.
- Weather Data (Open-Meteo): To fetch live weather information when requested by your reminders. No personal data is shared with Open-Meteo.
We do not share your mobile information with third-party lead generators, data brokers, or any parties for marketing purposes.
13. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@yougot.ai.
14. Service Limitations and Reminder Delivery Disclaimer
YouGot delivers reminders on a best-effort basis via SMS, WhatsApp, email, and push notifications. Delivery may fail or be delayed due to carrier network issues, device connectivity, third-party service availability (including Twilio, Meta WhatsApp, and push notification services), internet outages, service maintenance, software errors, or your plan's monthly message limits being reached.
Foresight AI Partners LLC and YouGot are not liable for any reminder that is not delivered, is delivered late, or is delivered inaccurately, regardless of the nature or purpose of the reminder. This includes, without limitation, reminders related to health, medication, medical appointments, or any other time-sensitive or critical tasks.
YouGot is not a medical device, healthcare service, or emergency notification system. You should not rely solely on YouGot for any reminder that is critical to your health, safety, or well-being. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent backup systems for critical reminders.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

17. Cookies, Local Storage & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and browser localStorage to provide and improve the Service. Our analytics provider, PostHog, uses localStorage and cookies for session persistence and user identification.
We track the following for analytics purposes:
- Page views and feature usage
- User identification (email, name)
- Account tier and signup source
- Referral code attribution
- Default notification channel preference
- Account creation date and reminder count
- Platform detection (mobile, desktop, or PWA)
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Our tracking is limited to service improvement and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect service functionality such as session persistence.
18. Push Notification Data
If you enable push notifications, we store your push notification subscription endpoint. This data is used solely to deliver the reminder notifications you request.
You can revoke push notification permission at any time through your browser settings. Your subscription data is deleted when you unsubscribe from push notifications or delete your account.
19. API & Webhook Data (Business Tier)
If you use our Business tier API and webhook features, the following additional data practices apply:
- API Keys: API keys are hashed and stored securely. We do not store plaintext API keys after initial generation.
- API Request Logs: We log API requests including timestamps, user, endpoint, method, and status code. These logs are retained for 90 days.
- Webhook URLs: Webhook URLs you provide are stored and used solely for delivering reminder notifications to your specified endpoints.
- Webhook Delivery Logs: We log webhook delivery attempts including URL, response status, and timestamps. These logs are retained for 90 days.
20. Conversation & AI Session Data
When you interact with YouGot's AI-powered reminder creation, your conversation sessions are stored to provide context for multi-turn interactions. This allows the Service to better understand and fulfill your reminder requests.
Conversation data is processed by Anthropic Claude via OpenRouter. Neither Anthropic nor OpenRouter retains your data for model training purposes. Conversation sessions are subject to the same retention policies as reminder data described in Section 9.
21. Engagement & Sharing Data
When you share a reminder or participate in social features, we collect the following data:
- Shared Reminders: Views, likes, and clones of reminders you share publicly
- Link Tracking: Click tracking for shared reminder URLs
- Referral Program: Referral code usage, signup attribution, and conversion to paid plans
This data is used to provide sharing features, track referral rewards, and improve the Service. We do not sell engagement data to third parties.
22. Your Privacy Rights (CCPA & State Laws)
If you are a resident of California or another state with applicable privacy laws, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know: You may request information about what personal data we collect, use, and disclose about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. If this changes, we will provide an opt-out mechanism.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at support@yougot.ai. We will verify your identity before processing your request and respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request.
23. Do Not Track Signals
We currently do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Our tracking is limited to service improvement and analytics and is not used for third-party advertising purposes.
24. International Data Transfers
Your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data regardless of where it is stored or processed.
25. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of discovery. We will also notify relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
The notification will include: the nature of the breach, the types of data affected, steps we are taking to address the breach, and recommended actions you can take to protect yourself.
